The Challenge
Installing architectural walls in a new market requires more than knowing the installation process. The team needs to understand the site, verify measurements, coordinate product logistics, and be prepared to work within field conditions.
For this project, RDI needed to coordinate work from the initial field measurement through the final installation while working with product that had been staged at a local warehouse.
The Approach
RDI’s foreman, Bert, traveled to Florida to complete the field measurement before the installation began. The trip was completed in a single day, allowing the team to verify the site and prepare for the next phase of work.
Once the project was ready for installation, RDI’s crew traveled to the jobsite. The team reviewed the wall product that had been received and staged at a local warehouse before proceeding with the installation.
This combination of field experience, preparation, and coordination allowed RDI to step into the second phase of the project with a clear understanding of the site and installation requirements.
The Result
RDI successfully completed the second phase of the architectural wall installation in Florida, extending the team’s work beyond its home market.
